Have your say - Central Park

At the heart of Bradfield City will be a two-hectare Central Park. This is the first step in establishing Australia's newest city as a vibrant, cultural city immersed in a true parkland environment. Central Park will welcome visitors to Bradfield City Centre and become a key gathering space for residents and workers.

It will include:

  • two hectares of open space designed with Country
  • 55% tree canopy cover
  • gathering ground to host a range of cultural and community events
  • destinational play space for all
  • connected via Metro to the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.

Construction will take place mid-2025 to late 2026 and will involve:

  • site preparation and earthworks
  • soft and hard landscaping
  • drainage and stormwater infrastructure
  • amenities and associated structures
