The Western Parkland City covers more than two-thirds of the entire Greater Sydney Area and is a place of growth, change and tremendous opportunity.

One point five million people are expected to live in the region in the next twenty years, which means employment, infrastructure, transport and utilities are a significant focus for government.

Harnessing Sydney’s first 24-hour international airport, the Aerotropolis will be key to transforming the Western Parkland City into Australia’s first, 22nd century city.

A hub for innovation and growth, it will attract new industries, investment and help create over 200,000 skilled jobs across the region.

An advanced manufacturing precinct will be the epicentre of cutting-edge defence, aerospace and space industries, providing a national comparative advantage in productivity and growth.

An agribusiness precinct will mean produce from across New South Wales can be packed, shipped and served up to over fifty percent of the world’s population within 36 hours.

Development to the north of the Aerotropolis will deliver hotels, conference facilities, arts, cultural and recreational spaces.

The new city will pioneer blended education pathways and career opportunities to support these emerging industries and jobs.

Its success will rely on connecting and activating existing metropolitan centres across the region.

We are working alongside government, councils and industry partners to design and deliver and modern, connected city, ripe with opportunities to live, learn and work and grow well into the future.
