The team behind the vision for the Western Parkland City

This is the vision for our advanced new city, as explained by Executive Director, Planning & Development, Troy Harvey.

Troy has the exciting, daunting and incredible challenge of leading the design of what we're calling Australia's first 22nd Century city. It's certainly the largest and most ambitious city build project in modern Australian history. Built around the 24/7 airport, the Aerotropolis will feature a hub for advanced manufacturing (e.g. 3D printing, robotics and AI); aerospace and defence; an agribusiness precinct for high tech food production; global freight and logistics; and accessible training and education.

The master plans are still coming together, but Troy's vision is clear. "My KPI number one is to not build a business park. Our success will be defined by our ability to open the place up with the right types of commercial development and the right types of residential development, feathered with cultural facilities and educational buildings."
