The AMRF will be built in the new Bradfield City Centre, the 115ha urban and employment area next to the Western Sydney International Airport. The facility will be around 15,500m2, with a manufacturing hall and collaborative work spaces, and is planned to be operational in 2026. It will complement the facility to be housed in the Bradfield City Centre’s first building, due to open in 2023.
The manufacturing hall will house state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing equipment allowing AMRF staff to work with industry to develop smart manufacturing solutions.
The manufacturing hall will be home to large robotic machinery, technology, research tools and equipment, providing a place for Australian talent to grow local ideas, and spread them across the globe.
